JOIN FORCES TO INCREASE REWARD IN RECENT
DOGS AND FOX POISONING CASE
 

The Montana Companion Animal Network, Inc. (MTCAN) and Footloose Montana have added to the reward generously put up by Dave Pauli from the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Each organization added $100.00 to the reward of $2,500 to find the person(s) who recently killed the Tate family's two beloved dogs and a fox with a poisoned meat ball in the Bitterroot Valley.

Kneedy Kitty Cat Food Drive

Hungry kitties in Ravalli County need your help! Please join Montana Companion Animal Network, Feral Cat Rescue and Fox Hollow Animal Project fill Ravalli County’s new “Kitty Kupboard” Food Bank that will help supply cat food for the folks who can’t afford to feed their household companions and those taking care of our community’s managed feral cat colonies.

On Saturday, July 11th, 2009, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm anyone wishing to donate can visit the following area businesses to purchase and/or drop off cat food donations: In Hamilton: Quality Supply, Wild About Pets, Albertson’s, Kmart and Ravalli County Bank in Super One. In Corvallis: Merc Fresh Market. And in Stevensville: Feed and Farm, Valley Drug & Variety and Ravalli County Bank in the Super One. More collection sites may come on board so check your local businesses on July 11th. Gary and Leos in Florence will be joining the effort on July 18th. Monetary donations will also be gladly accepted and food will be purchased from our local stores to help fill the “Kitty Kupboard” food bank.  

Anyone wishing to make a donation but can’t visit one of the store drop-off locations is encouraged to call 642-3785 by Wednesday, July 8th and arrangements will be made to pick up your donation.  Dry and canned cat food in any quantity is greatly appreciated.
