It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years since MTCAN was founded by 4 friends just wanting to make a difference.

Networking with area shelters, rescues and caring animal lovers is a huge part of what we do. The dedication and passion of the volunteers and staff who work with these dogs daily saves so many lives.  More than 90% of the adoptable dogs that are guests of MTCAN’s Dawg Gone Acres or other foster homes through MTCAN come from area rescuers. 

If each person can convince at least one other person to adopt from a shelter or rescue and to spay or neuter their pets, we CAN make a difference. 

Please visit your local shelters when looking to add a pet to your family.
