Buck is a 2 year old male recently rescued from a kill shelter in South Dakota.  He’s been with me for about 2 weeks and has gotten along well with my 3 border collies.  Buck appears to be an aussie/border collie cross with mostly aussie characteristics and disposition.  He has a good herding instinct, and will need an active family with room to run.  He has a really good recall, is very good socially with other dogs and cats.  Buck would do best in a family without younger children, ages 12 or younger.  He was recently neutered, is up to date on shots and worming.

Murf - 3-4 yr old neutered male Siamese Cross (possibly part Lynx Point Siamese)

I'm Murf, a healthy, easy-going guy seeking new accommodations. I'd prefer a rural environment where I can be outdoors at least part of the day and sleep inside at night (I'm presently upgrading my skills to include use of cat doors). Although my prior opportunities have lacked positive human contact, I've recently been fostered by people who taught me to love being petted, picked up and cuddled, and brushed. These are now considered highly desirable job benefits. My foster family provides health coverage so I've recently been neutered, wormed and given all my shots. Physically, I'm big and strong, weighing in at 13 lbs. A beautiful creamy grey with dark striping on my mask, legs and tail, and pale blue eyes - I have really big feet!

I'm pretty easy and require only some milk and kibble, a warm bed, regular brushing and petting, and routine health care (my current healthcare provider is Dr. Julie Kappes at the Animal Center) in Helena. Occasional treats of tuna fish would be regarded as a significant bonus.

My foster family loves me, but because I'm somewhat insecure and very territorial, I haven't been able to get along with the other feline family member. My foster parents think that I would definitely prefer to be an only feline. I don't recall ever sharing accommodation with canines so I don't know if I'd like that; it would have to be explored.

Max - 2 yr old neutered Doxie crosse.

Max and his sister Lusie have been looking for new families since their owner passed away unexpectedly. Lusie has gone to a new home of her own and now it is Max's turn.

Both were obviously very loved and doted on and fed way too well. Max has been on a diet and is doing well. He is also working on his leash skills, housebreaking and general manners.

Sarah is a beautiful playful 4 year old Spayed Female German Shepherd who is extremely shy with strangers and cameras. She came to her foster home with Grizzley after their owner died in an accident. She rides well and plays energetically with other dogs. She is house-trained and was in a household with cats.

I feel she would do best if kept with Grizzley or another cheerful dog to give her comfort and reasssurance that most people are kind.

BUCK - Neutered Male - Young Adult - Border Collie

Buck was pulled from a high kill shelter in Wyoming and transported to me here in Montana. When the shelter contacted the owners registered to his micro-chip they stated they had gotten him as a puppy and had since given him away. This young dog is a really nice boy! He bonds very well, has excellent recall, loves children and has an easy going personality. He is good with other dogs and is getting used to cats. He is fine with horses too. He is on the larger side for a Border Collie, about 55 pounds. Buck is neutered, current on shots and is house broken. I am looking for an owner that has experience with this breed and can provide Buck with the A+ home that he deserves!

I'm the little lady of my litter.  My brothers like to pick on me, but I squeal to make them stop.  Then when they aren't paying attention, I sneak over and pinch them!  I've got this 'little sister' gig figured out.  I really do adore my brothers though, and I'd like to find a home with room for my favorite one, De Lorean, too.  I'll keep him in line, I promise.

Opal - Spayed Female - 2 Years Old

When I was rescued, my tail was in such bad shape, it had to be amputated.  Now it's all healed, I've been spayed, and my babies are all grown.  So it's MY turn to be pampered.  Even though it's been rough  being a single mom, I'm still young and playful and I'd love to find a home that will take my handsome son, Odyssy, too so I have a playmate.
